Hard and Soft Landscape Commercial Project

We designed a mixed planting scheme for this new build project to provide all year round colour and interest with minimal maintenance. The whole planting area was mulched with Pine bark.

We commissioned a bespoke stainless steel water feature for the central courtyard area. Running water can be loud and distracting, particularly in an enclosed space, which is why we decided on this ‘trickle feature’ creating a concentric ripple effect, which discharged into a sump beneath.

In order to reduce water consumption and control the ripple effect, a flat surface plate was incorporated-it was crucial to the effect that it was perfectly horizontal. Adjusting bolts provided minute correction and the flow rate altered to maintain the desired effect.

A Gazebo, Pergola and Raised beds provided additional features to encourage the residents to enjoy and make full use of the surrounding spaces.
