Nottingham City Hospital – Sensory Garden

Commercial Landscape Project

Date: Jan/Feb 2014
Budget: £20,000+

Brief:
The aim of this project was to transform a deprived piece of land located between the . . . . . to an area of peace and relaxation, to be enjoyed by patients, staff and the general public. The sensory garden was designed to be a place for people to relax and reflect, away from the stresses of being in hospital.

Soft Landscaping
Over two hundred plants and eight trees were incorporated into the planting scheme, to compliment some of the existing plants that were preserved on site. This included a . . . . . . . . . . . as a centrepiece for the garden. The planting was a mixture of evergreen and herbaceous which would offer all year colour and interest.
